The daily loop
- Answer for yourself. Each of today's five questions has two answers. Pick the one that's true for you.
- Read the room. Predict what percent of today's players chose the same answer.
- See the room. The reveal shows how everyone split, how close you were, and your points.
Your first answer is the one that counts
Each browser's first official answer to each question counts once toward that day's room. Reloading, answering again or switching modes never adds a second vote. The server stores only a one-way daily code for this, never your browser ID or IP address.
Early rooms
A room with very few answers would swing wildly, so each question starts with a starting estimate written by our editors. Each live response lowers that estimate's weight by 5 percentage points: after 10 responses it is half the room, and from 20 responses on, the room is entirely live. Until then, the reveal is labeled “Early room” with the number of responses so far.
Scoring
Each question is worth up to 100 points. You lose 2.25 points for every percentage point between your prediction and the room, and you always get at least 20. Five questions make 500 points. “Read the room 84%” means you scored 420 of 500. It isn't a ranking.
Ways to keep playing
- Official Daily Five counts toward the room and earns your streak day.
- Replay the Room lets you try new predictions on today's questions, scored against the current room. Practice.
- Bonus Five serves five questions from an earlier day, scored against that day's final room. Practice, but it can repair a streak once a month.
- Lightning Round asks for quick reads on recent rooms, with an optional timer and speed bonus. Practice.
- Second Thoughts lets you note privately whether a reveal changed your mind. It stays in your browser and is never sent.
- Challenges send a private link. Your friend plays the same round, and scores appear side by side once they finish. If it's today's round and they haven't played yet, that play is their official one.
Sarinka Streaks
Finish the Official Daily Five on consecutive Arizona days to build a streak. Every 7 days earns a Rest Day (up to 2) that covers a missed day automatically. Duo Streaks grow on days you and one partner both finish. Rewards are cosmetic: a flame topper, card frames, a sparkle finish and more. The full rules are in the Game Disclosures.
When things reset
New questions arrive at midnight Arizona time (UTC−7, no daylight saving time). A question comes back no sooner than five weeks later, and the same five never come back together within two years.
